
Roger Williams Park Zoo
Roger Williams Park Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the United States, opened in 1872 and set across 40 acres inside the 427-acre Roger Williams Park in South Providence. The zoo is home to more than 100 species, including African elephants, red pandas, and Masai giraffes, and draws over 500,000 visitors annually. It's a top destination for school field trips and family group outings across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
